The tank covers are designed to provide additional protection to the air filter box located on the top of the tank. This strategic position allows easy access to the air filter for maintenance and cleaning.
The tank cover lids are made of molded polypropylene as this material is lightweight, durable, and offers good protection against debris, mud splashes, and rocks that can be kicked up during off-road riding.
These plastic covers are designed to fit perfectly on the air filter box and serve to isolate the filter itself.
Designed to be easy to remove and reinstall, allowing quick access to the air filter when it needs to be cleaned or replaced. Often, these covers are securely fastened to the tank with fasteners or hooks to ensure a secure seal and prevent accidental opening during riding.
