Collector box seals are an essential component of a bikes exhaust system, forming a gas tight seal between the various sections of the exhaust system. The seal in this listing is a crushable type gasket, and as such is intended to be used only once - each time the exhaust assembly is stripped and reassembled the collector box seals must be replaced. Stripping and reassembling the exhaust assembly without replacing the collector box seals can lead to blowing from the exhaust system which in turn causes power loss and leads to annoying noises from the exhaust system.
