Product information

Rtech alluminium forged shift levers color black / blue

Rtech shifters are made using a high quality aluminum forging process. This process involves melting and pressing the material into a specific shape, resulting in a strong yet lightweight gear lever.

Forged aluminum known for its resistance to bending and its light weight. Thanks to this material, Rtech shifters are able to provide precise and reliable control over the transmission, without compromising the weight or efficiency of the bike.

The flexible toe cap absorbs shock and vibration while riding, reducing stress on the foot and improving riding comfort.
Finally, the flexible toe cap is also a safety measure. In the event of an impact or shock, the belly pan can bend without breaking or causing damage to the rest of the gear lever or to the motorcycle itself.

The spring in the flexible tip is precisely used to ensure this flexibility. The spring allows the tip to bend easily under pressure, but automatically returns to its original position once the pressure is released.

Made in Taiwan

The assembling:
1. Remove the old gear lever: to do this, locate the gear lever fixing screw and unscrew it, then remove the lever itself.
2. Before installing the new gear lever, it is important to check that it is compatible with the model and type of motorcycle. Once this has been verified, the new shift lever must be inserted in the same spot where the old one was installed. Make sure to insert the lever correctly and tighten the fixing screw.
3. Make sure that the position of the new shift lever is correct and that the gears can be shifted smoothly. If necessary, adjust lever position according to rider preference.

WARNINGS:
If the fixing to the splined shaft of the gearbox is slow, the splines of the lever are worn out making it unusable, therefore we recommend fixing the screw of the lever with the threadlocker that you find on the page below among the related articles.
It is always advisable to consult the owner's manual of your motorcycle to verify the assembly specifications.
