Trm connecting rods

TRM has been an independent manufacturer of racing engines since 1998, later it specialized in the high-level production of crankshafts, connecting rods and crank pins for all go-kart engines. The collaboration with engine preparers of several competition racing teams has allowed a further evolution of the company which has reached very high quality standards, comparable - if not superior - to the original products.

TRM has recently decided to expand the offer of these products “machined from solid” also to the Competition Off Road sector. In the racing motorcycle sector he has developed further experience by building crankshafts and connecting rods for the Paton Enterprise, winner in recent years - with our products - of a lot of finals in the Isle of Man circuit. We also collaborate with engine preparers of some competition racing teams in Off Road Sector.

The innovative idea is now to offer to all Off Road pilots a high quality product that is infinitely superior to the products currently in use, obtained from “moulded matter”. The “from solid” product offers countless advantages in terms of reliability, durability, lightness, resistance to high temperatures and much more. They are comparable to those that the manufacturers reserve for the official drivers of the racing teams, unfortunately they cannot be purchased by others. The experience in the go-kart field has allowed the company to conceive improved and calibrated connecting rods in all their critical areas, something that only a manufacturer can do.

Consequently, the prices to the pilot-end user are comparable to those reserved for distributors and are therefore extremely competitive in comparison to the moulded products of considerably lower quality currently in use.

The company has also specialized in the Super Finishing Treatment of all mechanical parts for better overall perfomances. The treatment is available to our customers at a very favorable price.

Why choose connecting rods machined from solid:

The steel is of higher quality than the moulded connecting rods normally in use
During the machining of “from solid” rods a greater removal of material is carried out to avoid imperfections, surface or depth micro-cracks that are present in a slight form in the moulded rods
They have no coarse surface finishes compared to moulded ones
The weights are almost identical to each other, unlike those of the moulded ones which are very heterogeneous
All our products at the end of processing, after careful control, are subjected to a Super Finishing Treatment, to eliminate the processing ridges in the holes, improving the sliding of the roller cages thanks to a noticeable decrease in friction and operating tempera
